How to order a reproduction from SCHOW KARLSEN ART?

You choose the painting's size and level of detail (A +, A and B) according to your preference. All our sizes are in line with the painting's original aspect ratio, which means your painting will not be cropped according to some fixed sizes. Examples of the quality of our paintings can be seen by clicking here.

Please use the menu on the left or at the top of the page to browse for paintings. Artists are sorted by last name (ex. 'M' for 'Claude Monet'). You can also search for a specific color, subject and style. Try an 'Advanced Search' if you're looking for paintings which must meet specific criteria.

1) What level of detail should I choose?

Grade A +, A and B: Select the level of detail according to the expectations you have for your painting. See guidelines below.

A +: The artist will do his/her utmost to make the reproduction look like the original piece. The artist will spend an extra effort and more time to get as many of the smallest details carried over to the reproduction as possible and at all reproduce the painting and its color as accurately as possible. At very detailed paintings, you will get a lot out of choosing grade A +. A+ is an extra high level of detail that most other suppliers do not offer.

A: Grade A is our standard quality. This is still a high quality compared to our competitors, and grade A will definitely be able to satisfy the vast majority of our customers' demands. If you are unsure about which level of detail you should choose, we will most of the times recommend choosing a grade A painting.

B: Grade B best suit paintings in which the degree of detail is already quite low. It is possible to have a detailed painting made in grade B, but then you have to accept missing out on quite a few details. Also, the colors will not be as accurate as the two higher grades A+ and A.

2) Is it the original or a reproduction I am looking at when browsing SCHOW KARLSEN ART's web-shop?

3) Which size should I choose?

All sizes that are available for each painting have already been approved buy us, meaning they will all deliver a good result. For your own convenience, please measure that there is free space on your wall before ordering the painting.
